Message of Hope and a call for Solidarity with the victims of super storm “Yolanda”

People from all over the world have sent their love and support to the Philippines, where hundreds are reported dead due to monster typhoon “Yolanda.”

No less than Pope Francis sent out prayers and love through a tweet in his official account @Pontifex.

“I ask all of you to join me in prayer for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda especially those in the beloved islands of the Philippines,” the Pope said.

In Austria, Ambassador Lourdes Yparraguirre  took the chance to deliver her message of hope and call for solidarity with fellow Filipinos who were greatly affected by the superstorm “Yolanda” or “Haiyan” that has wrought havoc to the Philippines.

The Ambassador was the guest speaker during the Masquerade Ball of the Babaylan Austria on November 9, 2013 held at the Marriott Hotel Vienna.

“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Babaylan in Austria for organizing the event t0night and I know that a masquarade ball is a festive occasion. I apologize if my message tonight will be off tangent to the occasion as it carries a special sadness but at the same time it is a message of hope and a call for solidarity,” the ambassador said.
